Savvii Slack Support code of conduct

Basics

Our support team consists of several senior DevOps engineers. Every day, another engineer has the first line so others can focus on DevOps work.
A lot of the rules below are tailored to this cycle.

Threads

  • Usage of threads is necessary. Every new subject in a channel, alerts everyone in that channel, to keep disturbance to a minimum, thread usage is required.
  • When reviving old threads, one should always use the “send to channel” checkbox.

Ad(@)ing

  • Do not @ our employees directly
  • @here and @channel are reserved for emergencies

DMing

  • Do not DM our employees directly unless addressed in DM
  • When in need of discussing something in private, ask in your channel if support can DM you

Support hours

Support is available every weekday from 9 till 17:00, everything outside these hours is not a right but best effort.
When having an emergency, please open Slack and call our emergency number, you can find this number in your Slack channel. Our engineer will ask you to continue the conversation in Slack.
